[Photo|Mohammed Ali]A 3rd public secondary school in Nyali constituency, Frere Town secondary school, has been opened.The new facility is friendly to students, teachers and parents living with disabilities. During the official opening, area MP Mohammed Ali assured parents and teachers that his office would move in speed to ensure the school is equipped with more books, lockers, lab equipment, ICT equipment and more teachers to facilitate ease and smooth learning process."We will also ensure bursary is distributed to all deserving students who meet the criteria requirement without any form of favouritism," said Ali on Saturday."The school enrollment is very impressive, 300 students from form 1-4. Out of my personal kitty, I paid fees for 16 students in the school who performed well in curriculum and co-curriculum (arts) activities."Mohammed Ali said his focus remains investing heavily in education saying a secondary school for each ward is his target. "As at now, we lack secondary schools in Kadzandani and Kongowea wards which we intend to build in our tenure," said the lawmaker.
