Sofapaka FC new signing Ibrahim Kitawi in a past photo.(kariobangisharksfc.com)Sofapaka FC will be going for nothing short of the league title and other trophies in the 2018 season, new signing Ibrahim Kitawi has said.Speaking to the club's portal on Monday, the veteran midfielder expressed optimism that he had made the right choice to join the 2009 Kenya Premier League champions adding that his main aim is to steer the club to recapture the silverware that has eluded them for almost a decade now."I made the right choice to join Sofapaka which is one of the most ambitious and illustrious clubs in the country.I'm here to help them win titles especially the league title although the bottom line lies in working hard to achieve that.As I said before,working hard is paramount to all athe Sofapaka players and the fans should just support us and the desired results shall come," Kitawi said.Prior to Sofapaka the pacy midfielder has also featured for Gor Mahia,Bandari,Nakumatt and Kariobangi Sharks from where he joined Batoto Ba Mungu alongside his teammate Elly Asieche.Sofapaka are looking forward yo better their 2017 campaign that saw them finish a distant second behing eventual champions Gor Mahia.As part of that dream,the club has also bought on board former Ulinzi Stars dangerman Stephen Waruru and former Nakumatt striker Kepha Aswani whose combination is expected to give KPL defenders some harrowing moments.
