The newly crowned young millionaire, Quinter Nimo wants to invest in education.

Last weekend Nimo correctly predicted 16 out of 17 matches in the Sportpesa Mega Jackpot, to win Sh31 million.

The 23-year old, mother of two, was a student at Eldoret College of Professional Studies before she discontinued due to lack of fees.

“I was doing Supply Management certificate course but I had dropped out of school because I lacked fees. I will now continue my education because it will help me in future,” Nimo said, Wednesday.

“After taking the part for my education I will sit down with the relevant people and plan my investment  in either real estate or any other viable business that will change my livelihoods,” she added during an interview at her home village Masindet in Mt Elgon, Bungoma County.

Nimo said she had no phone and money to bet but borrowed Sh100 and a phone from a friend, just to bet.

“My friend had a phone but mine got lost and I had to borrow plus the money. I placed a bet and gave out the phone then went home. I didn’t know I had won until on Monday when I also borrowed a mobile phone to confirm after my friend told me she had won Sh1.7 million,'' she explained.

“I did not believe what I saw when I got a message that I had won Sh 31 million. I rushed and told my father whom also said it was not real. However she told me to withdraw the some amount to confirm it.I did withdraw Sh50,'' she added, Wednesday.

Nimo said she started betting July 2016.

“I knew nothing but my friend showed me all these and I am happy that she also got something this weekend. I have been using small amount of money to bet. The amount I can afford to lose,” she said.
