New Harambee Stars coach Paul Put has asked football fans in the country to offer him the desired support he needs at the helm of the team.
Put said he had fallen in love with the Stars and added that he held discussions with the federation over the future of Stars before taking up the role.
He will have to deliver at the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup that starts December.
"It’s like falling in love the first time.
Before taking this job I held several discussions with the president of the Kenyan FA and immediately I was impressed with his vision and passion for the game. And that’s why I decided to sign for Kenya," the Belgian coach said.
"I believe in my ability and leadership to bring success to the country but I also need everyone to support me, the fans, the media, the FA and everyone who loves football," Put added.
