A serious campaign that targets high voter turnout in Raila Odinga’s traditional strongholds has been put in place.
If implemented, the strategy that is mainly under youth leadership will see thorough campaigns across Nyanza, Western and Coast, particularly in the regions that NASA scored little votes.
Youth leaders in Nyamira County, one of the regions that conspicuously voted for Uhuru Kenyatta, have been locked in a series of meetings that would see the campaign actualized.
“This is a strategy targeting our stronghold sand our aim is to downsize Jubilee and increase our state,” says Ex-Nation reporter Nyambega Gisesa.
“We have come with modalities and well-wishers have chipped in. We have printed campaign materials and we are ready to go,” adds Irene Nyakerario, a nominated MCA.
To actualize the plan, Sons and daughters of Raila groups have been constituted and their main aim is to fund raise for NASA campaigns across the country.
By Thursday, well-wishers had responded to the movement and the teams are expected to kick start their campaigns across Nyanza and other pro-NASA territories this weekend.
