Embu senator Njeru Ndwiga rivaly starts after he called Governor Martin Wambora not to discriminate any person when giving out county jobs, whether they voted for him or not.
The Current senator said the county government of Embu is for everyone, regardless of political affiliations."A govenor needs to unite all the people whether young," he said.
"Embu residents have a right to be represented in the government and Wambora should ensure equity in appointment of executives and chief officers and any other county job," he added.
Njeru who had a press conference moment after Mbeere South MP Geoffrey King’ang’i raised the concern said Embu should unite and work together.
Mbeere MP had previosly raised an alert saying his constituents have been denied senior county jobs because the majority voted for Wambora’s opponent.
During the August 8 election Governor Martin Wambora was reelected on the Jubilee Party ticket garning over 97,000 votes against his close competitor Lenney Kivuti 96,670.
Lenny Kivuti served as former senator and he vied on Jubilee affiliate Maendeleo Chap Chap after decamping from Kiraitu's party.
