[Photo/ wazito-fc.com]Wazito FC head Coach Frank Ouna has said that their major aim is to survive relegation at the end of the 2018 Kenya Premier League (KPL) season.Wazito FC was promoted to the KPL at the end of 2017, after finishing second behind National Super League (NSL) Champions Vihiga United.Speaking during the unveiling of the Club’s new signings on Tuesday, Ouna said that KPL is a different ball game compared to NSL and they would be happy to survive relegation at the end of 2018.“NSL was tough but the hard work of the players and support of the fans and management made it easier. The Premier League is different and you have to change your squad," he said as quoted by Wazito FC website."We have changed a few out of choice but unfortunately lost others. We have beefed up and now ready for the big kick off. Our aim is to avoid relegation,” the former Gor Mahia assistant added.The Club’s CEO Luthers Mokua said he believes the scouts and Manager went for the best in the transfer market. “The new signings have unique skills and talent that will help us make a statement in our KPL debut,” he saidWazito FC will face Sony Sugar on Feb 05, 2018 in their KPL opening match.
