He expressed his joy as the new coach saying he was impressed by Mwendwa's vision for the Kenyan football."It’s like falling in love the first time. Before taking this job I held several discussions with the president of the Kenyan FA and immediately I was impressed with his vision and passion for the game. And that’s why I decided to sign for Kenya," he added.Stanley Okumbi who was demoted as the coach and will now act as Put's assistant.
