Speaking last night at Wangige Primary School during celebrations after Jubilee Alliance Party (JAP) win in the Kabete by-election, Ng'anga said that Kiambu has lagged behind in terms of development and a proper fight needed to be started if development was to be realised.

'It’s now or never to fight poor leadership in our county that makes it appear nowhere in the country in terms of developments. With the winning of our hero Waititu, time is come that leaders focus on developing our county and shunning from poor politics,” said Alice.

Ferdinand Waititu garnered 24,228 votes which was 95% of the total votes cast.

He was followed by an independent candidat,e George Mungai, who got 268 votes.

The event was also attended by the leader of majority in parliament Aden Duale and most Kiambu MPs.
