Thika Member of Parliament, Alice Ng’ang’a, has vowed to fight insecurity cases in the region and has called on Thika west Deputy County Commissioner (DCC) to support him in the fight.

This comes after Munyu residents have complained of rampant insecurity where lots of properties have been stolen by the criminals.

The MP has called on the DCC to reorganize his officers to beef up security which has been deteriorating in different regions.

Ng'ang'a threatened to hold demonstrations in the area if the police officers fail to take action.

The TNA legislator who was speaking on Wednesday in Munyu area urged residents to embrace nyumba kumi initiative in a bid to curb insecurity.

She said that she will not sit back and watch her people being robbed off what they have worked hard to get.

The law maker has however hailed the residents for handling the issues with great care.
