Thika Member of Parliament Alice Ng’ang’a has called on the national government to establish a police post in every public institution as a measure of preventing any recurrence of the heinous act in Garissa Campus.

The MP expressed her condolences to the bereaved families, saying that the government should step up and save our nation, which is ‘falling apart’ due to terror attacks.

She said that the establishment of police posts will help tame insecurity in the area, and make it difficult for the Al Shabaab to invade and as well.

The legislator added that the police stations should also be established near stadiums and market places, which accommodate many people since the security of the nation is at stake.

The law maker highly condemned the attack, urging the public to be vigilant and help the national government to fight such attacked by tipping off information to the necessary authority.

She said that Kenyans are eager to know the people attacking them, and the government should expedite on finding the master mind of the attack.

Ng’ang’a revealed that the country will face economic retardation due to constant insecurity, as investors will not venture into business in the country.

She said that the president should assure Kenyans that their interests come first before any other business.

She however extended her gratitude to President Kenyatta for apologizing to Kenyans, terming him as a good leader who takes responsibilities.
