Thika Town MP Alice Ng’ang’a now wants National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential running mate Kalonzo Musyoka to stop dragging Deputy President William Ruto’s name into the issues surrounding his foundation.
Ng’ang’a wants Kalonzo to carry his own cross and stop dragging DP Ruto and other Jubilee leaders names into his problems.
Speaking to journalists in Thika on Wednesday, the MP accused the Wiper leader of trying to divert attention by dragging Ruto’s name into his foundation woes.
“Kalonzo should keep DP Ruto's name out of his problems and be man enough to face the law over the irregularities at his foundation,” she said on Wednesday.
He accused Kalonzo of maligning DP Ruto’s by linking to the issues facing his controversial foundation.
On Tuesday, the Non-Governmental Organisation Coordination Board suspended operations and froze bank accounts at the Kalonzo Musyoka Foundation. The Fazul Mohamed led Board claimed that the foundation has allegedly been operating secret and illegal bank accounts.
The Board also accused the foundation of allegedly engaging in money laundering.
Kalonzo has however rubbished the claims instead blaming Deputy President William Ruto for the troubles at his foundation. The NASA presidential deputy flag bearer claimed that DP Ruto engineered the suspension and freezing of his foundation bank accounts.
Kalonzo accused the government of using its machinery to intimidate him. The Wiper leader claimed that Jubilee wants to frustrate and block his political career.
