Emurua Dikir MP Johanna Ng’eno says Kalenjin community holds no grudge with ODM leader Raila Odinga and will vote him overwhelmingly in August elections.

With his last real chances to clinch presidency, Odinga is banking on Rift Valley to boost his chances against President Uhuru Kenyatta of Jubilee.

And his chances were boosted by the fierce MP who accused Deputy President William Ruto against inciting Kalenjin community over Odinga’s candidature.

“Do not be lied to by someone that Odinga evicted people from Mau forest. Even Jomo Kenyatta, Daniel Moi and Mwai Kibaki resettled people from Mau.

“Odinga did just a slight mistake like them and he should be forgiven. These Jubilee people have done worst things than even evicting people. We have forgiven him and moved on,” said Ng’eno.

Although Deputy President William Ruto is undisputed political kingpin in the region, emergence of young leaders from the region has challenged his leadership.

Also leading the rebellion is Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto and Narok West MP Patrick Ntutu who on Saturday pledged to support NASA in August elections.
