Firebrand Emurua Dikir MP Johanna Ng’eno has warned DP William Ruto against insulting South Rift leaders when he campaigns in the region.
Ng’eno, who has since backed opposition leader Raila Odinga says he will ‘retaliate’ whenever Ruto conspires with Narok Governor Samuel Tunai in his meetings.
“This man (Ruto) has lost focus and he is thriving on insults to local leaders. He should tread carefully when campaigning in Narok because we are also capable of using goons,” said an agitated Ng’eno.
He further said: “You cannot force us to support Jubilee yet you have no agenda for our people. Come and campaign in peace and if you cannot stick to that, we are ready to face you head on.”
Pressure has continued to mount on President Uhuru Kenyatta o tame his Deputy, with Rift Valley leaders accusing the DP of discrimination and insulting them unnecessarily.
Also in the rebellious camp is Narok West MP Patrick Ntutu, Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto and KANU chairman Gideon Moi.
