Former Lands Cabinet Secretary and Kitui county governorship hopeful Charity Ngilu hosted boda boda riders at her Ithookwe home in Kitui on Friday in an effort to woo them for their vote.
According to the former CS, the riders played a very critical role in the county on matters transportation despite working in unfavorable environments.
Her promise to work together with them towards making the county a better place comes as a persuasion to win their hearts as they pose being most useful during the forthcoming campaigns.
"I will work hard towards ensuring the riders get a much more favorable working condition in the county," Ngilu promised.
In her bid to oust incumbent governor Julius Malombe, Ngilu has left no stone unturned as she addressed the people in Kitui county and held meetings with various key leaders in the community who are in favor of Malombe being dethroned.
