Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu has publicly declared support for the National Resistance Movement.

Ngilu said although her party, NARC, is not an affiliate of NASA, it will support the Opposition in its push for reforms.

"My party works with NASA and it embodies a reformist agenda that will change the way things are done in Kenya. If the resist campaign will do it, so be it," she said, responding to a Sunday Nation reader in the interactive series, 'Ask your Question'.

NRM led by Raila Odinga has asked its supporters to boycott products and services from Safaricom, Bidco and Brookside Diaries.

The three companies are accused of being major beneficiaries of 'illegitimate' Jubilee regime.

The movement has also called on the establishment of people's assembly in counties to push its reforms agenda.

Governor Ngilu further called on leaders to strive to end the current political uncertainty in order to move the country forward.

"Much of Kenya remains polarized, I believe there ought to be a collective responsibility for all leaders to keep Kenya united. I hope these differences do not impede development in the counties," the county boss added.
