Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu has hailed the Supreme Court under the leadership of Chief Justice David Maraga following the ruling of the presidential petition.
Ngilu, who was speaking on Friday at at Kalambani village in Mutha ward, Kitui South, said that the court has granted Kenyans justice they deserved.
The former lands minister said that she is happy with the court having a chance to exercise their democratic right. She also said that Jubilee should know that its days are numbered; adding that NASA Presidential candidate Raila Odinga will ascend to power.
“Jubilee leaders must know that we are tired of repeated rigging of presidential elections. I want to tell them that nothing will stop Raila Odinga from leading this nation since he is a leader who has won the hearts of the majority of Kenyans,” she said, as quoted by Star.
She also said that President Uhuru Kenyatta will not garner votes from Ukambani as he thinks during the fresh election. According to Ngilu, Ukambani region will still vote for Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga as it did in August.
