Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu has cautioned the Kamba community against supporting the re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta in next month repeat election.

Ngilu said Jubilee leaders are not trustworthy and therefore Ukambani people should not be duped to back the ruling coalition.

"I supported them (Jubilee) in 2013 and I have lived to regret for they kicked me out later. There is nothing to gain from supporting Uhuru's government," she warned.

Ngilu remarks comes after a delegation of Ukambani leaders led by Machakos County boss Alfred Mutua and former Kitui Senator David Musila visted President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House on Monday and endorsed his re-election.

"All elected Jubilee MPs and former legislators who lost in the August elections have vowed to lead the Kamba community to vote for you. We have decided to sever ties with the Opposition," Musila told President Kenyatta.
