Ngilu says that Jubilee has to apologize for the embarrassment they caused on the Judiciary through malicious attacks and claims that the courts are working with NASA to have the August 8 postponed.

The Narc Party leader said that UhuRuto’s criticism against the Judiciary amounted to intimidation.

“What UhuRuto must do now is to apologize to the Judiciary for all manner of things they said after the court ruling on ballot printing papers last week,” she said as quoted by the Standard.

Ngilu said that the president has no right to intimidate threaten independent constitutional offices.

The former Lands Cabinet Secretary (CS) said that Uhuru tainted his image as president by openly and publicly linking the Judiciary to rigging plot.

“Uhuru took an oath to protect and guard the constitution and it was wrong for him to attack the Judiciary in the manner he did,’’ she added.

President Kenyatta and section of Jubilee politicians shave ben under attack after the condemned the Judiciary accusing it working with NASA to have the August 8 polls postponed.

UhuRuto’s outburst came after High court stopped the printing of the presidential ballot papers in a case that had been filed by NASA.

NASA had gone to court seeking the ballot paper printing tender awarded to a Dubai based firm Al Ghurair cancelled.

NASA leaders claimed that the tendering process that steeled on Al-Ghurair was flawed. The opposition has however hit back at Jubilee refuting claims that it want the August 8 polls postponed.
