Kitui County Governor Charity Kaluki Ngilu has joined her National Super Alliance (NASA) counterparts in boycotting services offered by Safaricom.

The vocal county boss migrated to Airtel in a bid to woo her supporters to follow suit as the opposition leader’s fight to liberate the nation from what they term as poor governance. The NASA politician took to social media and posted:

“Dear all my networks and friends, You may now reach me on my new line Airtel 0734******. I have successfully migrated. #Resist #NasaBoycott” read part of her post.

The move by Ngilu comes after NASA Presidential candidate Raila Amolo Odinga asked his supporters to boycott goods and services from different companies. He cites Brookside and Safaricom.

According to the Luo Kingpin, the two are among the companies being used by the current regime to frustrate the common mwananchi.

“One of the companies that we have asked Kenyans to boycott is Safaricom because of its role in aiding and abetting those who are subverting the democratic will of Kenyans,” he said in a statement after migrating from Safaricom to Airtel.

The move by the opposition leaders to migrate to Airtel has continued to attract mixed reactions from different factions.
