Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) chairman John Mbadi has said that Narc Party leader Charity Ngilu will soon join the National Super Alliance (NASA).
Speaking during an interview with Citizen TV on Thursday, Mbadi said that Ngilu is among top politicians expected to join NASA in the coming days.
“We (NASA) are expecting more top politicians among them Charity Ngilu of Narc,” he said during the interview.
The Orange party chairman stated that NASA has reached out to more parties and political individuals, trade unions and civil rights groups as it prepares to unseat President Uhuru Kenyatta in August.
The Suba MP said that the Alliance will remain untied ahead of the polls, adding that the alliance is keen on unseating the Jubilee governmnt in the August elections.
“NASA will not crumble as being speculated and predicated by our rivals that one I can guarantee supporters,” he said.
Ngilu has been quoted saying that she is still weighing on who to support between Jubilee and NASA in the August polls.
Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has been wooing Ngilu to the opposition, who was suspended as Lands Cabinet Secretary in 2015 over graft allegations.
She has since declared interest to contest for the Kitui gubernatorial seat in the August 8 general election.
