Narc leader Charity Ngilu has urged Kambas to support the National Super Alliance (NASA’s) Raila Odinga- Kalonzo Musyoka presidential line up.
Ngilu warned that any rebellion on the NASA line up will give Jubilee an easy win in the August 8 polls.
Ngilu now wants Kambas to trust Kalonzo saying that he cannot lead them in the wrong direction.
“Proper deliberations and talks were done in regards to selecting the NASA flag bearer and if Kalonzo has accepted to deputize Raila Odinga then we (Kambas) must support him,” she said as quoted by the Daily Nation.
Ngilu added that it is better that Kalonzo has been handed a deputy position saying that he would get nothing if he was to join Jubilee or any other party.
The former CS said that it will be better if Kamba votes go to NASA basket rather than Jubilee.
There have been murmurs among some Kamba politicians in regards to the NASA line up.
A section of Kalonzo allies say that the Kamba community got a raw deal in the NASA deal.
The politicians led by Kitui West MP Francis Nyenze say that Kambas are not going to play second fiddles and want an urgent meeting convened to discuss the NASA deal.
Nyenze said that Kalonzo was shortchanged in the NASA agreement.
Kalonzo has however dismissed Nyenze asking him to accept the decision made by NASA.
Machakos gubernatorial aspirant Wavinya Ndeti and Wiper Secretary general Hassan Omar have defended the NASA line up saying it will deliver victory in the August 8 polls.
