Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu has vowed to marshal support for Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka’s 2022 presidential bid.

Ngilu says that she will traverse every corner of the country to sell Kalonzo’s ideology when the time comes.

Addressing Kitui Town residents on Tuesday, the NARC party leader said that the Kamba community is keen on Kalonzo’s 2022 presidential bid.

The Kitui county boss said that the community has waited for a long time to have one of its own ascend to the presidency.

She said that no one will deny Kalonzo an opportunity to ascend to power

“Kalonzo and the larger Kamba community has been loyal and patient enough and we believe that 2022 is our time to produce a president,” he said on Tuesday.

Ngilu stated that Kalonzo’s leadership is what need to transform and reform the country is.

She said a drive to ensure residents and Kenyans register for Identification Cards will be launched soon in Ukambani ahead of 2022.

“We are working on great plans all aimed at ensuring that we protect Kalonzo’s presidential candidature in 2022,” she added.

Ngilu said that the current regime dictatorial leadership can only be stopped by Kalonzo Musyoka.

The push for Kalonzo 202 2bid is gaining momentum among Kambi politicians and Wiper party members who have vowed to battle and ensure the former vice president is on the ballot.

Last week Kalonzo warned Wiper party politicians and members against debating 2022 politics.

He asked the politicians to instead support NASA electoral reforms agenda.

The Wiper Party boss that there will be no pint of discussing 2022 when issues pertaining to the 2017 presidential election are yet to be addressed.

Kalonzo signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NASA affiliate parties that is to see him automatically fly the NASA presidential ticket in 2022.

There are fears that Raila is likely to trash the MoU and contest again in 2022 since he failed to clinch the presidential seat in the 2017election.

Pressure has been mounting on Kalonzo to ditch Raila if he wants to revive his political ambitions with claims that the former Vice President could be handed a plum job in President Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration.
