Kitui hopeful Charity Ngilu ha pleaded with the Kamba community to cast its vote in favour of the National Super Alliance (NASA).

Speaking in Kitui on Thursday, Ngilu cautioned the community against endorsing Jubilee government second term claiming that UhuRuto’s administration does not deserve to be re-elected.

Ngilu said that Uhuru’s government has undermined and frustrated the interest of the Kamba community.

She claimed that Jubilee government mistreated and levelled false corruption allegations that saw her sacked as Lands Cabinet Secretary.

Ngilu went on to claim that Jubilee has discriminated against    Ukambani region in terms of development projects.

“Don’t allow them (Jubilee) to blind you with fake promises because they don’t have our (Kambas) interests at heart, they are only after our votes,” she said as quoted by the Standard.

The former Lands CS told residents to rally behind NASA flag bearer Raila Odinga.

Ngilu said that Raila is more trustable than Jubilee government and he will champion equality if he wins the general election.

The former Lands CS added that NASA has a realistic manifesto that if implemented will chance the county’s economic, social and political scope.

The Narc party leader, who is seeking the Kitui governor seat urged residents to elect her as the next governor.

Ngilu said that her development track record is foreseeable adding that she will offer servant leadership if elected.

The former CS asked Kenyans to remain calm and pray for peaceful general election slated for Tuesday next week.
