The Non Governmental Organizations Council has called on Kenyans to exercise harmony following the nullification of the presidential election results.
In a statement, the council’s chairman Stephen Cheboi said peace was key to ensure Kenyans are not divided.
“As NGO Council we urge all Kenyans across the country to continue maintaining Peace and harmony with each other,” said Cheboi
He added, “Peace is paramount for the nation, we urge supporters of various political divides to be divided.”
The country has witnessed a rise in political temperatures since the nullification of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s win.
The President and his deputy William Ruto have criticised and attacked Chief Justice David Maraga over the court’s verdict.
