The chairman of the National Council of Non-Governmental Organizations Stephen Cheboi is calling on Kenyans to remain patient as the Supreme Court handles the petition by Nasa.

Raila Odinga moved to the highest court to challenge the re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The Court on Saturday conducted pre-trial hearing on the case.

“We praise NASA team for taking the legal root to address their grievances and we urge them to accord the Judges humble time to deliver on the petition,” said the council’s chairman.

Cheboi said they have confidence in the seven Supreme Court judges that they will deliver a fair ruling.

He condemned those planning to give the judges a rough time during the case.

“As NGO Council we have full confidence with the supreme Court judges led by Chief Justice Maraga that they will make the right decision on the matter.”

“We condemn any action by any person or group of people that will not give the supreme Court judges their humble time to deliver on the petition,” he said.
