A Kisumu based Non-governmental Organization (NGO) is looking for girls or young women aged between 15 to 24 years who are passionate about adolescent health and rights.

The Nyanza Initiative for Girls’ Education & Empowerment (NIGEE) is searching for the girls and young women to join the Organization as sexual, reproductive health and rights advocates.

Those recruited will spearhead the organization’s advocacy on sexual reproductive health rights and information, to prevent and end gender based violence, child marriage and Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) among girls and young women in Kisumu, Siaya, Homabay and Migori Counties.

“It's a new project dubbed "Strengthening Girl-led advocacy on Sexual and reproductive health rights and information (SRHR) targeting Adolescent girls and young women age 15-24 years. 

“The Project is funded by American Jewish World Service - AJWS. We thank you so much for giving the girls a space and platform to raise their voices,” NIGEE posted on ts Facebook page.

Those interested have until Saturday March 03, 2018 to submit their applications.

The Organization has its headquarters in Kisumu’s Tom Mboya Estate with offices in Migori, Homabay and Siaya Counties.
