Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri says a murder suspect who may have killed a security guard has been identified and is on the run.
This follows the killing of Robert Chege Kariuki in the Wanyororo B area on January 2, this year.
Kariuki, 32, was working as a security guard with Lavington Security stationed at the GDC plant. His body was laid to rest at his parents' Thayu Farm home.
Ngunjiri said the police are pursuing the suspect and no efforts will be spared to bring him to book.
He urged the youths in the area to be careful not to fall in the groups but should remain focused in empowering themselves.
Ngunjiri said his office and the administration will employ resources to root out persistence illicit brewers who have been running illicit distillery plants in the area.
He also appealed to everybody above the age of 18 and who have not registered as a vote or have no identification card to do so without delay saying the 2017 presidential elections will be hotly contested.
The late Kariuki's burial was also attended by the Nakuru’s Agriculture CO Purity Muritu.
