Speaking on Radio Citizen Tuesday, the Member of Parliament said the nominations were done in the best way possible adding that the new cabinet represents the actual face of Kenya.

''The President was very considerate and accurate in his nominations, although the new cabinet does not bring out a 100 percent balance, with regards to all our ethnic communities, he has done a good job,'' said the lawmaker.

Coming at a time when concerns have been raised, with some communities lamenting over the absence of their 'own' in the new team, Ngunjiri maintained that it would be impossible to incorporate all the 43 tribes in the cabinet.

This, he said, would not only lead to the violation of the constitution but also an increased cost of sustaining the CSs.

''The constitution only allows for a limited number of Cabinet Secretaries. Therefore, if we have to include all our communities, we will have to amend the constitution and enable us to expand the cabinet,'' he said.

''This will as well drag along an extra cost of sustaining the new officials, monies that could have been channeled towards other developmental projects,'' added Ngunjiri.

A section of Uhuru's nominees has already been vetted.
