Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri has asked Nakuru electorate not to give sympathy votes to leaders but vote for them based on their achievements for the period they served as leaders.
Speaking in Ndundori ward Sunday, Ngunjiri said that he has realized the county will only be changed by voting in visionary leaders who are selfless and development centered.
“We have to grow this county and as citizens, we have the mandate to make sure that we vote for people who are development oriented and do not vote for somebody out of sympathy. Let his track record speak for him/her,” said Ngunjiri.
According to him, much can be achieved with the right leaders in place.
“What we are lacking is visionary leaders who listen to their people and act on their plight so that by the end of the term, at least problems that they faced five years ago will have been dealt with appropriately,” he added.
The Bahati MP has often told his constituents to vote for him because he has managed to accomplish 80% of what he promised during the campaigns.
