Nakuru senator Susan Kihika and Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri have buried their differences and promised to work together for the well being of Nakuru.

The two, who hail from the same constituency, have had political differences for long which threatened the unity and development of the people of Nakuru.

Their differences stemmed from a 2013 political duel when they were both running for the Bahati parliamentary seat.

They plunged into the then TNA party nominations where Ngunjiri beat Kihika.

Ngunjiri was then elected the area MP while Kihika went for the Nakuru County Speaker position.

Kihika had in 2013 accused the former veteran KANU politician that is Ngunjiri of using underhand tactics to thrash her in the nominations.

A few months to the 2017/elections, where Susan was fingered for the Nakuru Senator position, their differences emerged again as she accused the MP of meddling her family's affairs.

But all these differences were kept aside during a fund raiser at Jomo Kenyatta High School when the two announced a new chapter in their life.

"Blessed are those who maketh peace," Kihika captioned a photo she took with Ngunjiri after 'making peace'.
