Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri has today hailed a move by Nakuru county assembly to have county and deputy county administrators fired.
"The move by the MCAs is a great achievement to see the honorable members of the Nakuru County Assembly fighting for the Wanjiku, who made all elected leaders what they are today," he said.
"It is Wanjiku's hard-earned money that is being illegally appropriated by greedy public officers who only follow their fangs of greed. Our County MCAs action is a huge leap in the fight against corruption," Kimani added.
The MCAs on Tuesday debated on a motion over the illegal hiring of sub-county administrators by the county public service board.
A report filed to the assembly further indicated the existence of ghost workers in the county.
County assembly speaker ordered a probe into the public service board over allegations of bribery and improper hiring of county staffs.
