Bahati Member of Parliament Kimani Njunjiri on Friday launched a water project at Kabatini Location, Bahati constituency.
Addressing joyful residents, Kimani said that the electorate have right to access clean water.
“Everybody has right to access clean water, this is government responsibility,” said Kimani.
Kimani said that he will make sure that all residents in his constituency has clean water for use.
He also urged Nakuru Water Sanitation and Sewerage Company (Nawassco) to ensure that water shortage in Bahati constituency is addressed.
The launch of water project in Kabatini ward is a relief to the resident who has suffered for long.
Ann Nyokabi a vegetable vendor at Kabatini shopping center said that water woes in the area will now come to an end.
Kimani however urged the residents to utilise wisely the scarcity commodity to ensure it benefits everyone.
“I urge residents to utilize water well so that it can benefit as many residents as possible”, said Kimani.
