Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri now claims that most of his colleagues from Nakuru County fear Governor Kinuthia Mbugua and that is why they cannot criticise him openly.
Ngunjiri said the members of Parliament are aware of issues affecting the county but cannot publicly speak out due to fear.
On Tuesday, Ngunjiri said the silence by his colleagues makes him talk all the time, something he claimed, irritates the governor.
"My colleagues are afraid of Governor Mbugua and cannot criticise him openly and they have left that work to me and Gikaria (David) ," Ngunjiri told this writer.
David Gikaria is MP for Nakuru Town East.
"It is not that they are not seeing the mistakes being made by Mbugua, the problem is that they fear him and they don't want to be branded enemies," the lawmaker added.
He called on his colleagues to be vibrant and talk about issues affecting the county and its people.
