Ngunjiri had accused election coordinators of engaging in electoral malpractices and challenged the Jubilee National Secretariat to nullify the results.

Led by Manyara Keya, they accused Ngunjiri of pursuing his personal interests, a move that could cause disharmony in President Uhurui Kenyatta's support base.

"Ngunjiri should give us a break. We had very peaceful elections only that he is pursuing selfish interests. We cannot allow such people to disintegrate of unity," he said.

"He should record a statement for linking a section of us to outlawed Mung'iki sect. Our team is determined to deliver for President Kenyatta in 2017 and we urge him to cordially join us," he said.

The Jubilee Party Secretariat under the leadership of Raphael Tuju has invited all the disgruntled factions to present their case before a special tribunal for hearing before authenticating officials who were chosen nationwide.
