Bahati MP Onesmus Kimani Ngunjiri has appealed to Nakuru leaders to shun bad politics.
Adressing members of the Dundori Community Forest Association during the launch of Strategic plan for the Forest’s Shamba system at the Dundori Forestry offices on Thursday, Ngunjiri said leaders should emulate President Uhuru Kenyatta.
“We all know a time will come for politics but at the moment I would like to call upon the politicians to shun the decisive politics but rather let us engage in development to uplift the standards of our people,”said Ngunjiri.
The Legislature also appealed to the community living around Dundori forst in Bahati Constituency to ensure they take good care of the forest.
“This plan we are launching is for the benefit of all the people of Nakuru since conservation of the forest is paramount when it comes to water cathment in the area,” said Ngunjiri.
