Bahati Constituency Member of Parliament Kimani Ngunjiri has been summoned to appear before the National Cohesion and Integration Commission for questioning.
The legislator will be questioned over remarks he made over the weekend where he allegedly called for the forceful eviction of a certain community in Nakuru.
While addressing the press on Monday, NCIC Chairman Francis ole Kaparo said they have summoned Ngunjiri alongside Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria who is also accused of spewing hate utterances.
Mr Kaparo also cautioned Kenyans to be careful with what they post on social media, warning that his commission was on high alert for any malicious sentiments that are likely to cause chaos.
Kuria and Njunjiri will be questioned by NCIC on Thursday and Friday respectively.
Elsewhere, police have arrested Suna MP Junet Mohammed over hate speech claims as Machakos Senator waits at his Gigiri residence under house arrest.
