Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri said that the opposition has become a bother to many Kenyans for never-ending criticism on key government institutions which decline to be manipulated.

Speaking in Bahati on Wednesday, the MP said Cord’s call to have IEBC disbanded because Okoa Kenya intiative flopped was a misinformed move.

He said that they should embrace dialogue if they have any grievances over the matter but not call for disbandment because the commission did not align itself to fulfilling their desire.

“We are tired now because every time an institution stands its ground and refuses to be manipulated, Cord always says that it should go but IEBC is going nowhere. Let them get used to the idea and instead be diplomatic and talk it out,” he said.

He advised Cord leader Raila Odinga to ask IEBC for the rejected names and counter check it with their records for purposes of setting the record straight.

“If their issue is about the rejected names, they can ask IEBC for them and counter check them with their register and see where they went wrong and in the event that they are satisfied, they can then argue their case in a diplomatic way,” he said.
