Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri has told the Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka to stop meddling in the affairs and management of Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
Reacting to media reports attributed to the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) luminary to the effect that MCAs should also have a share of the CDF to manage, Ngunjiri told the former vice president to keep off parliamentary affairs.
“Kalonzo has no business commenting on how parliament is managing the fund or who should share in the management,” Ngunjiri said.
“Instead, he should retire from active politics since he has nothing to offer Kenyans.”
The legislator was speaking at Lanet when he officially launched Mireroni bridge, put up at a cost of more than Sh200, 000 courtesy of the area CDF.
“Cord leaders are wasting a lot of energy trying to distract the government from accomplishing its development agenda,” said the MP.
At the same time, Ngunjiri called on CDF management committees to expose and sensitise the young people on issues of CDF development projects at the grassroots level for their sustainability.
