Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri has said Nakuru County will give President Uhuru Kenyatta over one million votes in next year's polls.
Ngunjiri said Members of Parliament from the county and other political leaders at the grassroots are working on a strategy that will give Jubilee maximum votes in the coming elections.
Speaking Wednesday in Bahati, the lawmaker said they will ensure Nakuru County is among counties which will give Uhuru and Jubilee the most votes.
“Nakuru has so many people who are 18 years and above, and if we all register as voters, then I can assure you that Uhuru and Jubilee will get over a million votes from Nakuru,” said Ngunjiri.
“We will move across all the 11 constituencies of Nakuru to ensure that all those who are 18 years and above have registered before the exercise is closed,” he added.
Ngunjiri said Nakuru will be fully Jubilee after 2017 because all Members of Parliament from the county will be from the party.
“I know in 2013 we had some mixture but in 2017, the script will be reading Jubilee from the top to the end because everyone will be Jubilee,” he said.
