Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has revealed one secret thing he believes president Uhuru Kenyatta did before partially releasing his new cabinet. According to Ngunyi, President Kenyatta had secretly dissolved the Cabinet before forming a new one which he released partially. Ngunyi without providing further information said that President Kenyatta tricked former Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Keriako Tobiko who resigned from the job after he was nominated for cabinet secretary position. "What Uhuru did NOT do as he appointed CABINET is more IMPORTANT than what HE did. He DISSOLVED Cabinet without SAYING it! Then HE TRICKED Tobiko. VERY CLEVER!" Ngunyi tweeted on Friday In a press briefing on Friday, President Kenyatta announced that he had retained six current Cabinet Secretaries including Former Education CS Fred Matiang'i, Najib Balala [Tourism), James Macharia (Transport), Charles Keter (Energy] and Joe Mucheru (Information Communication and Technology)Deputy President William Ruto was however absent during the press partial release of the new cabinet.
As Uhuru is busy forming his new cabinet, the opposition is busy prepairing for the inauguration of their leader Raila Odinga on January 30 with the process in the verge of completion.
