Lovembe pleaded guilty to two accounts of criminal charges, being in the country illegally and contravening an order that had declared him an illegal immigrant.

He was deported from Kenya in 2013 after a presidential order, but was arrested in Kayole on September 29, after sneaking into the country.

Defending himself, Lovembe pleaded with the court to be lenient on him as he is a father of four, and asked the court to deport him to his motherland instead.

Nairobi Chief Magistrate Daniel Ogembo turned down the plea saying that the nature of the offence was serious with the country facing serious security issues.
