Part of a screenshot of a Facebook post of a conman trying to milk generous Kenyans of their hard-earned cash by feigning sickness of 'his son'. [Photo/@ThisisDaniel]With the Njaanuary weather hitting almost everyone below the belt, survival tactics are key to see yourself through the 79 days of the month, or else you will be exterminated by the scorching sun. That is why some are going to the banks dressed like nuns and for sure, it has worked for them.Their Njaanuary is over. Others like Gnr Koli Nanok have resorted to social media (Facebook) he is posting several pitiful photos of a sick baby he claims to be his, accompanied by tearful long posts. Of course, knowing the generosity of Kenyans he gives his M-Pesa number at the end."I wish that you can quickly leave that hospital bed, and spend that time with me instead. Your presence in my life makes me tick. Get well soon. This is my dear son David Ngugi who is in a serious and in critical condition, My dear wife Milka resting in peace. It pains my heart so much to a point where I cant hold my tears back. My dear wife and son were involved in an accident that happened on 31 December.I lost the love of my life, my wife," Nanok states in a lengthy post on Limuru Noticeboard Facebook group. At the end he says:  "NAWAOMBA MSAADA WENU, TAFADHALI NISAIDIENI KUTOKA KWA HII NJANGA PLEASE. Paybill : Mpesa number is customized Mpesa/wave 0792 87 44 11 WambuiTHANK YOU ALL."In a different Facebook group (Kameme Kayu Ka Muingi Fan Page) he posts a different photo of another child still in a sorry state whom he calls Bryan (my first born) who was diagnosed with a brain tumour since birth. In the lengthy post, he states that the baby who is the 'joy of my life' requires Sh2.5 million to be treated in India. The message is different but the same 'customized' M-pesa number remains the same.Njaanuary is REAL but this is going OVERBOARD!!
