Kiambu town MP Jude Njomo has asked the Jubilee Coalition leaders to stop arguing over the new party’s leadership, saying that the party’s leaders have to come from the party stakeholders.
Speaking to journalists after the burial ceremony of Michelle Njeri, who was murdered brutally by his foster father, at Ndumberi cemetery, the MP said that there are some areas which are strongholds of the Jubilee Coalition where there are wrangles of the leadership of the leading party
He said that the leading party may be weakened by the conflicts within itself, urging the leaders to join hands and seek one mission of uniting Kenyans, as it is the main objective of the party.
“Kenyans can easily lose confidence in the party if the leaders go on fighting over leadership positions in the party, especially in the party’s strongholds,” said Njomo.
“Am calling upon the leaders in the jubilee coalition to unite and take up one mission of uniting Kenyans all toward the goal of development since wrangles in the party will just tear us apart and at last we shall loose,” said the legislator.
He went on to praise the merging of the parties forming the jubilee coalition to form one political party, saying that Kenyans will gain confidence of the new party and the government at large.
