Njoro Special school was on Saturday the host of Kameme FM presenter Njogu Njoroge in support of the mentally challenged pupils.

The popular Arahuka show presenter was in the company of the Chapati Forum Movement which is a non governmental movement concerned with charity work to the less fortunate members of the society.

Warembo na Uhuruto were also present alongside artists Bahati, Ben Githae, Muigai Njoroge and many others as Njogu celebrated 15 years in media.

The event which was aiming at buying foodstuffs and personal effects of the forgotten students of  Njoro Special School led to the contribution of over SH900 000.

Njogu has been supporting many Kenyans in difficult situations leading to his ever growing popularity. He has become a close aide of the President, his deputy and other leaders.

Njogu used the platform to launch his ambition to vie for Njoro parliamentary seat in next year's general election.
