Nominated senator Paula Njoroge now wants President Uhuru Kenyatta to ‘throw out’ people linked to Deputy President William Ruto, to rescue his 2017 re-election bid.
The controversial senator has not been in good terms with the DP and is on record for claiming that the Kikuyu community will not vote Ruto in 2022 polls.
In another bombshell to Jubilee government, Njoroge accused individuals close to DP Ruto of concentrating on 2022 polls.
“Uhuru should take charge of his campaigns to save the situation. He should do that by throwing out some elements that are focusing on 2022 rather than next year,” he said during Monday’s interview with KTN.
“The 2022 elections should not flood our 2017 plans, something which I have seen Ruto doing. Uhuru should wake up and control the ship from sinking,” he added.
Jubilee Party conducted a three day voting of interim officials last week, an exercise which has further threatened its integration.
