Speaking during the burial of veteran politician John Keen in Namanga on Friday, Nkaiserry said that the government is putting measures in place to ensure that the polls are violence free at the same time warning individuals planning to cause chaos of dire consequences.

"I want to ensure all Kenyans that the coming polls will be peaceful and on behalf of the President, I can guarantee that no violence will be witnessed. I have sworn to ensure the protection of every Kenyan's life and property so you can be sure that whoever breaks the law will be dealt with," said Nkaissery.

The C.S also called upon all parties and individuals planning to take part in the elections to be ready for either outcome.

"This is a competition and whoever is defeated should be ready to accept the result," added Nkaissery.
