Interior Cabinet SEcereatry Joseph Nkaissery has urged the Cord leader to comply over the 'inflammatory' remarks.

According to Nkaiserry, Odinga's comments were unfortunate and aimed at causing tension.

He said that NIS operates professionally and does not engage in politics.

NIS is run professionally and does not involve itself in partisan politics. The claim shows the Opposition is bankrupt of ideas,” he said, adding: “We are not taking the statement lightly…action must be taken," said Nkaisserry.

On Tuesday, Odinga claimed that the government was using NIS to get voters from Somalia and Uganda with the aim of regitering them during the ongoing process.

However, Odinga has remained defiant stating that his claims were valid.
