Major differences between NASA and Jubilee politicians showed out at Interior CS Secretary Joseph Nkaissery’s home in Ilbisil yesterday Sunday.
Kajiado Central MP Kanchori Memusi and Kajiado Governor David Nkedianye were barred from accessing the grounds after the family gave the directive.
SImilarly denied entry to the place were Wiper candidate for Kajiado county woman MP seat Simayiai Rakita and former Kenya Meat Commission chief Taraiya ole Kores.
Leaders who spoke at the prayer meeting told Kajiado residents to avoid speculations into the cause of Nkaissery’s death.
“There is a lot of speculation. People want to know what caused the death of Nkaissery,” Mr Kello said.
“Everything is under control. The government also wants to know the cause of the death and will ensure it gets answers.”
“I visited her in hospital today and she was fine. She is not sick but recovering from the shock of losing her husband,” Mr Meja said.
Former military leader Jeremiah Kianga said that those investigating Nkaissery’s death must do so quickly and make public the cause.
“It was with tremendous shock that we learnt of his demise. We hope to know the truth about his death on time,” he said.
