New Internal Security cabinet secretary Joseph Nkaissery has been lauded by Gatundu North MP Kigo Njenga for the calm situation in the country.
Kigo said that it was a good beginning of demonstrating professionalism in various jurisdictions that delivers to the public.
The new security minister was appointed after the firing of the previous boss Joseph Olelenku, who was faced by a lot of challenges including Al-Shabab invasion in the country and prominent people deaths happening often.
The appointment was done to try and regain peace in various parts of the country where crisis hovered, and according to Kigo, the new cabinet secretary has perfectly enacted his crown ready to deliver to common mwananchi who require security.
He added that Kenyans have got a chance to work in any part of the country without fear, and called on Kenyans to join hands in fighting insecurity that has previously been immense in areas like Mandera, Wajir and Mpeketoni, reminding them that those affected are their sons and daughters.
“Let us support the new security boss and his juniors in their new tasks of ensuring Kenya is safe and worth living and am sure the vision 2030 will not be cut short by lack of peace of we work together,” said Kigo.
Kigo has urged Nkaissery to honestly serve Kenyans without minding the say of the opposition party where he was, and also root out the increased corruption in the security sector.
He was addressing journalists on Thursday afternoon in his office, after he met constituency bursary committee to discuss on how to disburse the remaining docket.
